The Spider Web: A Network of Projects
The scope of Building a Future does not necessarily end on the roof top. There is also an ambition to expand and scale up the ideas and inventions previously made, forming a network of interventions with the community centre at its focus.
In parallel with the Roof Top Project, the students have been working on their own individual projects, exploring different ideas related to the situation in Izmir. They spread throughout the city and its vicinity in the farmlands of Torbali. Together they form a spider web, connecting with each other to inform, complement and strengthen the efforts being made at the Tiafi community centre.
